Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Prol Unit in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Prol Officer a dynamic manufacturing and industrial locion, where you will monitor and prol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-reled incidents, and support daily operions through strong communicion and customer service. In this role, you will bring professionalism, integrity, and teamwork to every shift while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable workplace experience.

Pay Re: $24.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wh You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons the locion while carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and/or approprie emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, including armed response duties when authorized by site requirements and Allied Universal policies.
• Conduct regular and random prols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizion, and document security-reled events, observions, and incidents according to site protocols.
• Support facility operions by reporting hazards, equipment issues, policy violions, and/or suspicious behavior to the approprie contacts and assisting with incident follow-up as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Act 235 qualificion is required in Pennsylvania only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
