Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Prol in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hospitals, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Prol Officer in a busy hospital, where you will conduct routine prols, remain visible to help discourage security-reled incidents, and support people on site with outstanding customer service and communicion. This role is ideal for a dependable professional who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings a flexible, people-first approach to every shift.

Pay Re: $24.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wh You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and when approprie, emergency response activities an industrial locion.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalion techniques and reporting details through approprie channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed prols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in support of site access control protocols.
• Support incident documention and communicion with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed, while following Allied Universal and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess least 1 year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Act 235 qualificion is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
