1960's Kawai electric guitar - "Barclay" - Refurbished - Plays real nice - w/case.
- An estate sale in my town landed this little beauty in my lap. A grandfather passed and the family was cleaning out the attic.
- I totally dissassembled, cleaned the electronics and restrung
- I adjusted the action.
- I left the original tuning machines onboard but can easily be updated/replaced. They turned a little rough. WD40 helped quite a bit.
- The "Barclay" label was removed. I pulled a pic from Ebay to show location. (the last pic is the Ebay pic for reference...see my headstock pics you can see where the label was. If you zoom in the headstock pic you can see near the "thickest" "E" string tuner)
- She plays beautifully and would make any collection look even cooler.
- The second and third pic, i cleaned the pickguard better. There is still stroke marks. Someone played it quite a bit.
- Great, solid starter that wont break the bank.
- A bit of musical history as well!
- I'll have a little amp and cable to sample
I live in Pottstown and work in Spring City and can meet anywhere within reason...Thanks for viewing...
