We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a Control Panel fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain safety standards, and lead a team of production workers. This role requires strong electro/mechanical knowledge, experience with assembly fabrication, and familiarity with warehouse operations. The Production Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality output while fostering a productive and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities on the factory floor, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely
- Oversee assembly operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, VOM and electro-mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with maintenance tasks
- Operate or oversee the operation of forklift and other warehouse equipment to facilitate material movement
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote continuous improvement and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate production records, report on progress and identify areas for process improvement
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tool and assembly equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including forklift operation and material handling
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and manufacturing best practices
- Prior experience working with manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively
- Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
