DISH Playmaker automatically finds the satellites. Provides nationwide coverage. Stationary use only, will not work for your RV as you are rolling down the road. Park the RV and you are all set. We bought for tailgating but where we park is covered with trees so reception was spotty. Works perfectly fine in our driveway with a clear view of the sky (I do not need it at home). DISH also allows month to month service so you only need a subscription for the months in the year where you will use it.
