I am helping an 80 year old male find a one bedroom, first floor apartment to be closer to his relatives as he goes into the next stage of his life. No stairs into apartment would be great. He can afford between $900 - $1,500/month.
He has no pets, does not smoke except has a medical marijuana card and smokes at night to help him sleep. He does drive so it would be a bonus to have off street parking or ample street parking.
