I crafted this kitchen island from a vintage dresser. I removed the bottom 2 drawers and rebuilt the inside to make ample storage space for those kitchen gadgets you don't know where to store. I replaced the original dresser top with a butcher block-style top, which I finished with multiple coats of semi-gloss poly. The island was painted using one of Fusion's most modern colors - Midnight Blue (navy blue). The hardware was updated with new antique brass knobs and caster wheels. I lined the 2 drawers with a coordinating paper to complete the look. $395+tax firm.
