The Bi-Lingual Wellness Coach will work in our Plymouth Meeting, PA office and is responsible for:
•Assisting members in establishing and meeting healthy goals that lead to life style improvement and positive member outcomes
•A successful candidate must be bilingual and possess the ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently

Speaks to members regarding areas which include:
•Weight management
•Physical activity
•Exercise
•Nutritional education
•Tobacco cessation
•Stress management

Essential Job Functions:
•Coaching is completed via telephone and electronic communications (email/secure web messaging) using evidence-based coaching techniques and positive psychology to assist members in recognizing health risks and developing appropriate Action Plans with Long Term/Short Term Goals/SMART goals.
Being part of a Call Center Team environment, coaches also answer incoming calls and assist members with:
•All aspects of Health Advocate’s Corporate Wellness Program and Incentive program details
•Biometric Screening inquiries
•Online wellness programs tools and services
•Website navigation

Qualifications

Requirements:

•Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in fitness, public health, healthcare management, or a related field required
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in fitness, public health, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred
•Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
•Minimum of 2 year's customer facing benefit administration, healthcare, nursing, dietary, fitness, or a related experience is required
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
•A successful candidate must be bilingual and possess the ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently
•Applicable fitness, training, dietary, or other related certifications preferred
•Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
•Strong ability to explain complex issues to members in simple, understandable terms
•Highly effective listening skills
•Strong problems solving/issue resolution skills
•Excellent customer service and customer resolution skills
•Strong organizational and administrative skills
•Ability to work in a team environment
