(1) Esterly Speed Mat (mat and glass cutter)
This is a small production mat cutter. I purchased it used from a Frame Shop ~10 years ago and have had it mounted to the wall since. I haven't been making many picture frames lately so decided to sell it. It's the 30x40 model. Condition-wise I would describe as "well used" but working. The ruling system is worn and hard to read so what I did was to fix a tape measure over top of it and it was surprisingly accurate. If you are familiar with the cutter it works pretty decently. Since it is older it's a little harder to find parts for it but they are out there mostly on e-bay. I have 2 oval cutters. The first I bought with the unit and the second I bought as a spare (I never used either so I can't say if they work as expected or not). This is a link to Esterly's site for more info. (2) Fletch glass cutter
This is another "well used" piece of picture framing equipment. I bought this used in less than perfect condition. The handle was somehow oddly repaired from its original design but as goofy as it looks it works perfectly. I've literally never had a miscut piece of glass with this cutter (whereas before, cutting by hand, I was batting ~70 % which was frustrating and expensive). I never mounter the cutter on a wall though it's supposed to be set up that way. I'd simply pull it out from closet when I needed it and then put it away again. In the pics I put towels around then ends for when I'm moving it around as it's awkward and can scratch things, like your shins :-)
