I've noticed that most of the posts here are "awareness" posts, intended to enlighten others. Mine is an Action post, designed to spur readers to a specific behavior that can cause good when performed collectively.
I ask you to change what's wrong instead of pointing it out. We get it. Its all over the internet. Your point, my point, his and her points. Let's unite and start changing things!
I'm looking for animal lovers who are willing to shut down the demand for puppy mills by protesting one of the biggest sellers of puppy-mill dogs in the area: The Pet store in the Berkshire Mall. This store has a horrible record of purchases from kennels with egregious conditions. Bringing awareness to the local consumers would do a great deal to stop the Christmas rush on buying animals as "presents." I'm looking for outspoken, talented, and sincere animal lovers who are ready to make their soft heart a hard action that makes an impact in the lives of local animals. People good with flyers, advertising, etc, are needed as well. Please write back and let's get a group started! Thank you for your time.
