OJT will address the type of product shipped, packaging techniques, documentation requirements, processing of inspection & delivery paperwork, use of the UPS on-line system, use of Label Master software, data entry for accounting system and adherence to all applicable ISO 9000 requirements.
• Completion of a one-day training class for DOT hazardous material handling (scheduled by the company).

We are seeking a Production & Inventory Control Manager for our manufacturing facility in Coatsville, PA. This opportunity is a full-time, exciting role within a growing company. At this time, we are primarily interested in local candidates.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall supervision of Materials, Production Planning, and Procurement areas.
2. Production and replenishing inventory as required by production schedules and/or customer orders.
3. Balancing production requirements while minimizing inventory and carrying costs.
4. Department will verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and reconcile discrepancies.
5. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency.
6. Manage MRP implementation and integration of multiple sites
Qualifications:
1. This is a supervisory position requiring 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND.
2. Bachelor’s degree in business or industrial focus
3. Knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations is highly desired
4. Requires excellent computer skills; Prior experience with Oracle is highly desired
5. Proficient to expert level ERP/MRP user
6. Professional certification a plus.
Daily Responsibilities will include inspection of parts, sub assemblies, and finished product for AC Units that will be used in Rail Cars. These units measure roughly 20 by 8 feet and will be inspected at a rate of about 8 units per week.

Job Description/Requirements:
Ensure safe work environment by following all safety and ergonomic rules, including any special personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) applying to a particular process or area. Operate low or high speed automatic packaging line machinery/equipment and branding equipment as needed. Handle such items as glass and plastic containers; load cartons, labels, and circulars into machines; clear jams and clean machine and work area as needed or scheduled. Observe and be responsible for proper operation of equipment. Inspect both in process and packaged drug products for packaging batch number, expiration date, shipper numbers to ensure quality assurance standards. Accurately complete packaging orders and all other production related paperwork in a timely manner. Adhere to schedule attainment requirements. Help build team-oriented culture by motivating and supporting team members, being faithful to the team process by sharing knowledge with all members of the factory to continuously improve the process. Take ownership of training and learning to develop high performance competencies (teamwork, technical skills, communication and initiative) to continuously improve process. Train other new Sr. Packaging Operators. In certain areas/departments, cross-train on other equipment as needed. Comply with all CGMP standards. Perform Department and Line cleanings as required by SOP’s. May perform other duties as assigned.
General direction provided by Production Supervisor and daily work is routine in nature. Specific process instructions are provided in written Packaging Orders. Much of the packaging output is reviewed and approved by co-workers using validated methods. Some work is reviewed and approved by production supervision. Must utilize personal judgment during process requirements and for maintaining equipment. Must be willing to participate in on-going medical surveillance programs, wear extensive personal protective equipment (PPE) and pass medical evaluation before working in some packaging/manufacturing areas. Must be willing to work overtime as required, based on production demands. Frequent schedule changes due to production/customer demands may be required.

10 yrs experience of wood, plexi, and/or metal manufacture in the store fixture industry
Costing or Estimating background with an emphasis on building systems
Computer literacy with knowledge of ERP
